The Kiddo family has been extended with a new 'amazing' wheelchair , the Kiddo Up. The Kiddo Up is an active lightweight wheelchair with a tilt function especially for the smallest users. The Tilt function offers the ability to alternate position. An innovative wheelchair for children who can hoop for themselves and sometimes need a tilt function! Tilting without change of center of gravity.

The wheelchair grows with the child and is adjustable in width, depth and height. Very light in weight (from 10 kg - including wheels), but retaining the familar Veldink4kids quality. An innovative childrens's wheelchair with a contemporary design that is highly manouvrable thanks to its compact desing and is especially light driving. The chair is designed so that the child is optimally supported. Perfect adjustment to each user's therapeutic and physical demands.

Maximum user weight is 50kg. The Kiddo Up is tested and approved in accordance with the European standard: NEN-EN 12183 & crash-tested conform ISO 7176-19. (TÜV Rheinland).

The Kiddo Up is always manufactured to the measurements of the child. 100% designed and made in Holland.  Our tilting function allows the smooth change of the user´s position and grants an effective relaxation of spine and pelvis. The Up can be adjusted from -5 and up to +40 degrees. The Up is a practical indoor and outdoor wheelchair and ideal for children who want to drive themselves. One of the few available tilting wheelchairs suitable for self-drive. An optimal seating position for every child and a good functionality of the wheelchair is one of the most important tasks for Veldink4kids. The wheelchair is designed so that your child is optimally supported. Besides the possibility of special modifications, there is a wide range of options and accessories available. Tray (system)

Individually configurable to the needs of the user in different materials. Our standard trayss are made of 5mm transparent impact-resistant polycarbonate and features three curved edges. Of course you can order a custom made tray in the shape you want with and without edges. These may be performed in 5mm or 8mm thickness of polycarbonate or gray trespa. Different extra options available such as, toy arch, different padding options and design print on work tray.

System 1 & 2:
The work trays are provided with a double attachment tube to be mounted under the two armrests (horizontal type 1 & 2). This system is easy to adjust in depth and lockable. The swing-away version can be mounted both left and right. System 1 & 2 is only available for the Kiddo Tilt, Classic and Xperienz! 

System 3:
Type 3 is a removable plug-in system in which the double tubes are placed at the top in the collecting tubes. This system is designed for the Kiddo Up and Kiddo Space but it can also be mounted on all the other Kiddo models if desired! 

Printing on tray

Personalize the tray! The choices for the printing of the tray is almost unlimited (of course you can also submit your own image). Printed on the backside of the tray to avoid scratches.

It is possible to order a toy arch (removable) to be mounted on tray.

All our Kiddo Seats are always manufactured to the measurements of the child. An optimal seating position for every child and a good functionality of the wheelchair is one of the most important tasks for Veldink4kids. And an optimal seating support is for each child differently. for that reason every seat cushion is made individually and there is a wide choice of options and configurations. Possibly expanded with additional seat and body supporting accessories.

Standard seat cushions are equipped with a 2-layer foam system for optimum pressure distribution and comfort. The seat can be upholstered with different fabrics. For example, the spacermesh black fabric, black stamskin, or black neopreen. Also inlays (covers) for incontinence protection are available. Standard, the cushions are upholstered with black spachermesh (breathable fabric) with Cordura finished edges.

Other Seat cushions modifications:

Seat with tailbone recess: This seat has a deepened and soft section below the tailbone and provides protection against pressure sores. In addition to comfort, this also helps prevent the user from sliding forwards, which means that the pelvis stays to the rear where it is properly supported.

Leg lenght difference: Can be used as desired both leftside or rightside, at the front of the seat.

Seat provided with memoryfoam: The seat can be fitted with a top layer of memory foam. This gives extra comfort and relieves pressure points. Memory foam reacts to body heat. The foam will therefore be softer and smoother where your body is warmer. This will relieve your pressure points.

Urine bottle recess: For the Kiddo Classic, there is possibility to provide the seat of a swing-away recess for easy use of a urine bottle. Only to mount on the Kiddo Classic due to the space under the seat.
