Sometimes a standard wheelchair is not convenient enough to use or train certain functions or to encourage the user as much as possible. Therefor we have the Kiddo Reverse. This wheelchair combines the functionalities of a wheelchair with a toddle chair in one. By adjusting the seat unit and the frame the Kiddo can be transformed to an accupational therapy tool, the so-called toddle wheelchair. In this model, the rear (large)wheels will be mounted at the front in order to obtain the tripple function.

Specially for children with hip abnormality is an extreme abduction seat realized in which the seat and the frame be adjusted to the required angle. The frame and the seat will be made to measure of the child and often combined with a custom-made (extra-wide) abduction pommel.
In order to avoid dislocation of the hip during growth, there will be an abduction created of 65 degrees at the first two years. This is often brought back to 45 degrees around the sixth year. Important starting point is that there is such a narrow wheelbase as possible to maintain the independence and the ease to drive /hooping.

Each child has special needs, therefore the correct positioning and optimal support is of great importance. Very important is the correct hip-seat adjustment. That's why we also offer different options on the Kiddo Classic in the field of adjustable back-systems. All our back-systems are integrated in the central back tube of the wheelchair. The entire back-unit (system, back cushion and pushbar) is mounted with a Quick-Release-unit and can be removed easily.

Frame Colors
The frame can be carried out in the following standard colors. Is your color not listed then you can specify the desired RAL color to us. Furthermore, it is also possible to choose for a matte color (very popular at the moment).

All our wheelchairs can be provided with a Pelvi-loc. The pelvic pads are 3 - dimensional shape, for optimum fixation of the pelvis without pressure on the spine anterior superior. Formed shape with ultra thin end at the moulded seat fixing point to avoid lateral pressure marks at the pelvis. Prevents lateral pressure points on the pelvis. The ratchet will run in addition to a strap to prevent injuries.

Push bar (removable)
The Robust push bar is easy to set up for the attendant ergonomically correct height. You turn the lock cam loose and sets the correct height, then tighten the lock cam again. The pushing section (push handle) for the hands is made of comfortable PU material. There are two options here, a fixed push handle and a angle adjustable push handle. Also the entire back unit including backrest / headrest and handle can be made quick release removable (as an option).
